- Description
The Exam & Performance Pathway is an optional add-on to the HPA Beet Recreational programme for students who demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and a desire to further develop their performing arts training.
This additional weekly class builds upon the learning taking place in the Recreational programme, providing focused coaching in acting, singing and movement while preparing students for examinations and public performance.Throughout the year, students will:
Develop performance confidence and stage presence.
Refine acting, singing and movement skills.
Participate in the Academy's annual production.
Develop rehearsal etiquette, discipline and teamwork.
Receive more individualised coaching in preparation for performance work.
π 2026/27 β Production Year
The Exam & Performance Pathway alternates its focus between Trinity College London Musical Theatre examinations and the Academy's major productions.
The 2026/27 scholastic year is a Production Year. Students will focus on rehearsing and performing Sister Act JR., rather than preparing for a group Trinity examination, while continuing to develop the performance skills and discipline that underpin the pathway.
π Important
The Exam & Performance Pathway is an additional weekly class and cannot be booked on its own.
Students enrolled in this pathway must also:
Be enrolled in HPA Beet (Recreational).
Maintain a minimum 85% attendance across both classes.
Commit to rehearsals, performances and all production requirements throughout the scholastic year.
