💃 Contemporary Dance – Beginners Class (Summer Term)

Duration: 45 minutes weekly | 9 sessions

This Summer Term is the perfect opportunity to keep young movers active, expressive, and progressing between scholastic years.

Whether your child:
• wishes to continue developing the work started this year, or
• is looking to begin something new over the summer,

this focused 9-session block offers consistency, creativity, and structured growth.

Each week, students will:
🌊 Explore fluid movement and contemporary dance styles
🎭 Strengthen foundational technique in a supportive environment
✨ Build confidence, creativity, coordination, and physical awareness

This is an ideal bridge term — keeping skills sharp without losing momentum over the long summer break.

📍 Programme Details

Location: The Creative Hub, Triq l-Iżbandola, Qormi
Duration: 45 minutes weekly
Summer Term: 2nd July – 4th September
🚫 No lessons between the 10th and 16th August
Total: 9 sessions

🎭 Optional Performance Opportunity:
5th & 6th September 2026 at Valletta Campus Theatre

🎭 Performance Opportunity

Students may opt to participate in a live performance at Valletta Campus Theatre on:

📅 Sunday 6th September 2026

Participation in the performance is optional but strongly encouraged for students who wish to experience the focus, commitment, and excitement of working towards a live audience.

Please note:

• The final scheduled session on Thursday 4th September will take place at Valletta Campus Theatre.
• Additional rehearsal time may be scheduled on Friday 5th September and/or Saturday 6th September to ensure the performance is fully prepared for a public audience.

Further details regarding call times and logistics will be communicated closer to the performance dates.

💰 Fees

€35 non-refundable registration fee
€95 for the full 9-session Summer Term

💳 Full payment is due upon registration.

📜 Cancellation Policy

(Summer Afternoon Programme 2026)

• On or before 30 April 2026
→ 100% refund of programme fees
(excluding the €35 non-refundable registration fee and transaction charges)

• 1 May – 31 May 2026
→ 50% refund of programme fees
(excluding registration fee and transaction charges)

• From 1 June 2026 onwards
→ No refunds.

From 1 June, staffing, rehearsal planning, and theatre commitments will have been finalised.

Minimum Enrolment Clause:
The programme will run subject to minimum enrolment numbers. Should minimum enrolment not be reached, families will be notified and a full refund of programme fees will be issued.

Transfers:
Places may be transferred up to 31 May 2026, subject to availability.
