We’re thrilled to introduce a unique HPA Workshop Series focusing on Sustainable Costumes in Theatre. In this hands-on workshop, students will dive into creative costume-making practices, learning how to:
♻️ Reuse and repurpose existing costumes for new shows and characters.
🧵 Adapt, alter, and breathe new life into fabrics and designs to reduce waste.
🌎 Craft exciting accessories and costume pieces from recycled materials like plastic, cardboard, paper—and even household items like cans and foil!
At the end of the workshop, our students will have crafted eco-friendly costumes, ready to take the stage in our production of Shrek Jr! Let’s build creativity with a conscience! 🎉
Dates: Saturdays 30th November, 7 and 14th December
Venue: The Creative Hub, Qormi
Time: 2pm till 4pm.
Price: EUR 85 (EUR 70 for HPA students and parents. The discount is applied manually once booked).
